Ding Ding, Round Three?

We have had many discussions here about these debates at great length. We poke at each other in these discussions, we have had some laughs, we get frustrated, but we all have a goal on truth. That is something, I hope, we can all be in agreement of.

It is very important for everyone to understand that we do love Paul, and all Atheists here. Paul is doing all of us a great service for the glory of God in these debates, and for that, we thank him. We all want that clay of Paul to be softened and we will give all that glory to God when that happens. If not, at the very least, he understands that "If they will perish, let them perish with our arms about their knees." ~C.H. Spurgeon

Sye and Eric recap the debate afterwords here, and they bring us some very important points that need to be understood about what is actually going on. It will help to understand the background and purpose of our intentions, if nothing else.

So, for those of you who need to catch up on all the debates, you can go here and get all three of these debates on DVD.

13 spleen-ventings:

  1. You can still download all three debates for free and the fourth which isn't on the dvd and save yourself $16.

We'll be doing our own sweep up podcast on Skepticule Extra at http://www.skepticule.co.uk/

    All this for free.

Strange no mention of Justin Scheibers debate, also available for free.

  2. You can listen to my exchange with Justin Schieber on my multimedia page. There is also an ongoing (so far 5 parts) audio review of the exchange by Chris Bolt of "Choosing Hats" which can be found there. Chris is also planning to review my appearance with Eric Hovind on the Skepticule podcast. Looking forward to it!

  4. Sometimes one has to fight a greater evil:

I don't know if this is really on topic, but I've found something about how they're trying to bring a little sharia law in Canada:

Where? In Valley Park Middle School in Toronto. This affects the girls who are menstruating.

PZ, as you can see above, has the details plus a link to a petition.

In Canada, damnit, our civil laws that respect human rights have bloody priority. If they don't want that, then they shouldn't be here in my opinion.

  5. Sye,

I was going to post that debate you had with Justin Schieber and take a year off to do some studying. It made me realize how behind I actually am. What a great debate that was! Kind of makes me want to hand this blog over to you and run away with my tail tucked. Thanks for carrying that torch for the rest of us trying to catch up. Blessings.

  6. Sye and Dan are dismal excuses for human beings. You utterly disgust me.

  7. If you've heard one Sye debate, you've heard them all.

  11. So when you said you were going to take a year off to do some studying, you weren't kidding? You were being serious?

  12. Max,

I might take advantage of the opportunity to read Van Til's Apologetic as I have been wanting to. I cannot stay away that long though. I would miss y'all too much. :7)
