All In The Family Time

We have been internalizing a bit over at the house, mostly dealing with family things. One big bit of news is that I am a grandfather of a T-minus 1 month old baby boy (due in mid October); Just turned 44 years old; Married 12 years to the most beautiful, talented, and loving wife; And kids are growing up so very fast; Also, the dogs are shredding everything we own. Plus, I read a good book that I might post about later. Good news for the Atheists in it.

I hope you all have the same great successes. I did see that the Atheist's hate messages, for their dogma recruitment, are getting some hate mail. Welcome to the club. "Useless Savior"? Once again the Atheists are confirming the Bible, yet again.

My blog has not been forgotten by me, it's just I have been on other websites discussing things. Some great conversations have been had, and I feel really blessed that God is with me in some of the heated discussions online, and even within my own family. I feel God working with us, strengthening us, helping us get closer to Him. I really feel at peace, and blessed.

Speaking of blogs, my geeky 11 year old daughter's picture just got a nod from the entire brony community by getting her picture, that she made, on the header of 233+ Million visitor Juggernaut blog called Equestria Daily. See what the benefits of Unschooling does? Her creativity is blossoming.

When God moves me to, I will post. Until then, I hope everyone's summer is as nice as ours has been so far.

Edit: They took the header down. When they say 15 minutes of fame, they really mean it.

  1. Well the site header is an improvement over the previous. If you feel like changing site header again you should probably just get your daughter to do it again, and ignore any ideas you personally come up with.

  4. So, anytime an atheist says something "hateful" it's typical of atheists, but whenever a christian does it, they're not a true christian, am I right Dan?

In that case, even people like Martin "On the Jews and Their Lies" Luther and John "athiests can leave the country we won't miss them" Hagee are not true christians then, eh?

    1. On that bit about atheists "confirming" the bible? Please. Whenever has any holy book ever had anything good to say about those who don't believe it?

Well, almost. They may even be a Justified Christian still in the process of being sanctified. But yes, they are not meeting the criteria of being a Christian, (Matthew 5.22) and they would need to repent of such actions. But so should the Atheists for that matter.

Well I disagree with that point. Like I told Ricky Gervais, I'd rather you all wear the Scarlet letter "A", so we can find you in crowds to witness to you. :7)

Perfect love is a constant confronter. I certainly do not want you to go away lost but be with you until that day you find the path to your Salvation. I will be patient for that day. But, pretty please, don't go away.

    3. Care to explain just why people like the anti-semite Martin Luther and the bigot John Hagee are still xians, even though they otherwise fail the "test" you just described?

    4. Are you really going to be stupid and say that Luther's book "On the Jews and their Lies" and Hagee's bigoted rant about atheists are examples of "perfect love"?

    1. Why, because you didn't understand my first response?

    2. Oh, it was understandable from the perspective of being written in English. Beyond that, you're unable to demonstrate any reliable criteria for establishing whether a person is a Troo Christian™ or not.

      And you know it.

  6. Speaking of news...hey Dan, you're featured on the FSTDT entry on TV tropes. Look on the third link:

Eats Babies: Apparently, because atheists have no morals, logically they find eating babies to be a perfectly acceptable activity.

  7. Huh? TV Tropes. They have an entire section on "Fundies Say the Darndest Things".

On the bright side, I do like that cross-eyed horse at the top though I wonder why that "my little pony" craze is back. I thought that that cartoon had died out 2 decades ago.

Now it's back? Bastards better not do that with some of those other eighties cartoons!

    1. Because instead of making just another thinly disguised toy commercial, the producer of (the first two seasons of) My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic made a cartoon that was actually surprisingly good.

Not even close, Reynold. I'd have thought iNinja cured you of that misperception. Here's a video demonstrating just how relevant My Lil Pony is to modern society...

PS. video is safe, but the audio is adults only. Hide the kids.

And yet, ultimately, it leads to this very blog. Perhaps you claim that entry never happened?
