I just watched a Film called AGENDA (User will not allow me to embed it.)
I will guess complete denial, as a response. Unless maybe the left here are as Ludwig von Mises put it, "confused and misguided sympathizers" or as Lenin labeled as useful idiot.

Truth About Christianity
"So then, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath; for the wrath of man does not produce the righteousness of God." ~James 1:19-20

Pro-Life Syllogism
I have leapfrogged this article in its entirety, with a word correction, from Atheism Analyzed by Stan who highlighted it from the original post, the blog, Scientiam Dei:
Stan adds, "To deny that every human - every human - went through the prenatal stages of human life including the division of cells and all embryo stages can be seen as nothing short of dishonest. To claim the moral authority to determine which stage of human life they think is acceptable to [murder] is an onerous claim. The idea that Atheism is more empathetic is absurd, unless the value of human life is discounted in advance, and the Atheist is elevated beyond his actual position as just another human, not a moral judge or determiner of life and death for other innocent humans.
No excuse can defeat the fact that human life always starts with cell division and that killing those cells kills a human life at that particular stage. This is not defeated by any appeal to the condition of the mother, the ability of the embryo to feel pain, or any other rationalized permission to [murder] the human at that stage, and only in a triage situation can such decisions be made which would kill the embryo or mother with moral impunity.
The much vaunted Atheist "empathy" has not been extended to the more than 50,000,000 humans [murdered] by abortion in the United States. "
I am sure you will notice that I changed the 'kills' to "murder" as to be more accurate and truthful.
I found it completely telling that Stan was able to articulate the exact arguments I hear daily, on this blog or in my group, from the Atheists. How can a worldview, a position that stands on an argument from incredulity, possibly be so sure?
This post was almost a Déjà vu as a few days ago I asked in the group: Are you absolutely certain that is NOT a person inside of the woman deserving rights and freedoms as any other person? If so, how are you absolutely certain?
UPDATE: this post is on the heals of a new video released just today revealing Planned Parenthood encouraging Sex-Selective Abortions like China, from Live Action.
Here is Francis J. Beckwith's pro-life syllogism:
- The unborn entity, from the moment of conception, is a full-fledged member of the human community*.
- It is prima facie morally wrong to [murder] any member of that community.
- Every successful abortion [murders] an unborn entity, a full-fledged member of the human community.
- Therefore, every successful abortion is prima facie morally wrong.¹

Billy Ray Fail!
It is final, we are not allowing anything Miley Cyrus in our house.
We suspected her worldly ways with her revealing and tasteless pictures that she took, then the poor decision to allow those Vanity Fair pictures go to print, now to the recent Pole Dance routine, she is out.
It is perfectly understandable. If you allow such worldly things into your home, and even encouraged, these results are to be expected.
I guess Billy Ray is forgetting that very wise advice that Chris Rock gave.
"My only job in life is to keep her off the pole."
(strong language alert)
We all know that nothing good comes from that Pole.
"Christians should not be a thermometers that merely record and reflect the temperature of popular opinion.
Christians should be like thermostats, responsible for transforming and setting the temperature or standards of society" ~Martin Luther King, Jr.
What I can read, from one article, she was never spanked but just grounded. Our prayers go out to the false convert called Miley, and hope she understands Christianity...someday soon.
Thank God, Free at last!
Update: My theory held true, not a Christian yet. Some false converts cover well, this one didn't. She's now leaving America to go be British? Yikes, bad decisions galore. You failed her Billy Ray. She's still an Antichrist.

Constitution: Interpreted? or Enforced!
So, Obama places the most racist left liberal possible to be the next Supreme Court Judge. She will be replacing a very independent voter that, in a sense, balanced the votes. But these people have a horrible view on our Constitution. They believe that its a living document that needs to be interpreted instead of enforced. Shift said this today in his vlog and I couldn't agree more.
The Bible is another document that doesn't need to be interpreted, just honored. This is merely a deconstructionism approach to the Constitution. In that, they believe that all written texts are always subject to differing interpretations which are affected by one's culture, biases, language imprecision and so forth. This critical approach is a form of relativism or nihilism. This very same argument of modern deconstructionism is made for the Bible and Christianity by Dr. Bahnsen in his book "Pushing the Antithesis."
J. Hillis Miller has described deconstruction this way: "Deconstruction is not a dismantling of the structure of a text, but a demonstration that it has already dismantled itself. Its apparently-solid ground is no rock, but thin air."
Can anyone honestly say that about the Constitution or the Bible?
UPDATE: I cannot think of a worse Bible study then something like this:
In these days of Burger King church "have it your way" it is not surprising what we find in many Bible studies.
We need to move away from interpretation of these two documents, the Constitution and the Bible, and move towards a sensitive discernment.

It's a Boy!!
If you noticed, by the countdown to the right, it is too early to have another child. Well, I have some personal news from the Marvin family. We now have an addition to our family and its a boy! He is 6'1 and 22 years old! Apparently history repeats itself and it seems our personalities and interests mirrored each other in many ways. I will get to know him more when he, and his mother, come to visit us in August.
The results are in and they cannot rule me out as the father. They then added, according to the DNA match, there is a 99.99% chance that I am indeed his father. So I am a proud Daddy once again.
His Aunt found me on Facebook and we reminisced about my visit back when I was 17 on vacation from boot camp in the Military. Right after the visit, I was transferred to the Persian Gulf and we lost touch. Her Nephew, on Facebook, said "id like to talk with ya about something." which was odd and I started to think back. The minute I saw his picture I knew. He looks almost exactly like I did at his age.
I told his Mom that raising kids is very hard, but raising "me" is madness. Apparently she did a great job. He, thankfully, is a Christian and I told him at least we have all of eternity to catch up and make up for lost time. We broke the news to Abby by referencing Elf the movie how Buddy was looking for his Dad and wanted to know him. She laughed at me and is taking it well.
Patty and I found it so odd that I am extremely protective of my children, we never let them out of our sites with homeschooling and no baby sitters and such, to find out that this whole time a child of mine was growing up alone without his Dad. Even if father of the year is out the window, hopefully he can find it in his heart to forgive me for being so young and out of touch. I hope he understands also that I love him very much and my heart aches for him. All I can do now is move forward with him, to whatever degree he wants me involved in his life.

Your Government Not at Work - Jane Harman Scandal
This is just too funny and completely disturbing not to post:
Congresswoman Jane Harman made pseudo headlines when Congressional Quarterly revealed that she had been caught on a wiretap agreeing to help two Israeli lobbyists accused of spying. In exchange, wealthy Democratic donator Haim Saban agreed to pressure Nancy Pelosi to make Harman chair of the House Intelligence Committee, which deals with spying.
Harman also pressured The New York Times to kill a story on wiretaps, which she supported alongside former Attorney General Alberto Gonzales.
All efforts ended up failing, and created merely a headache for Harman. And also for people trying to follow all the wheeling and dealing.
I don't know which is worse, that there are Israeli lobbyist spies in the US or the corrupt Congress that hides their wrongdoings. California, corrupt and completely evil...No Way!
Update: WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The U.S. government today said it would drop charges in an espionage case against two pro-Israel lobbyists because it was unlikely to win at trial and classified information would have to be disclosed. Imagine that. Your government not at work.

Christians are Misogynistic?
freddies_dead said in that last post called Woman Boss (bit.ly/womanboss):Wow .. just wow .. the misogyny is almost palpable. My friend Eric just today said on his Facebook page that his "faith is pure and his pimp hand is strong."
But seriously, we are called bride of Christ for a reason, God loves woman. Yes, women submit to the husband, and husband submit to God. See, we are playing the role of the marriage that will happen in heaven with Jesus and his believers. Stay loyal in Christ and you will understand how exalted you will be in heaven.
Many women don't like what the Bible says because it calls wives to "submit to their husbands." However, submission is not limited to wives submitting to their husbands. We are told to submit to God, governmental authorities, our boss, and leaders in the assembly. We are also told to submit to one another in love, which includes men serving women and vice versa in love in unity of mind. God is a God of order. In a sinful world, submission to those in authority is the only way to maintain order. Romans 13 as a fine example.
Genesis 1:27 "So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them."
Traits from man and woman equally make up the "image of God"
What about Genesis 2:18 where it says it is "not good" for man to be alone.
How did God treat women? Remember story of Esther?
You then have to ask, How did Jesus treat women? Like the woman at the well or Mary Magdalene or even the prostitute about to get stoned. As it was said in the last post, "The women described in the Bible are not always homemakers and mothers. Obviously, the biological function of women is to produce children. However, Deborah was both a judge and leader of Israel.(Judges 4:4) Other women were involved in ridding Israel of her enemies.(Judges 4:21) Quite a number of women are described as being prophetesses.(Exodus 15:20,2 Kings 22:14,Luke 2:36) Other women in the Bible were involved in teaching the Word of God(Acts 18:26)"
Countless other verses point to Jesus holding high regard for women.
God's people are referred to as female, not male. In the Old Testament, God's people are the "daughters of Zion." The Body of Christ (including us men) is referred to as the "bride" of Christ and God is said to be our "husband." Whenever referred to by sex, the assembly is described as "she" or "her." (Ephesians 5:25,27)"
In conclusion we have one verse that sums it all up: Galatians 3:28 "There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus." We all have our roles as the body of the Christ head.

Woman Boss?
Women as bosses in the workplace are great. They know what they want, they understand how to persuade people. They battle for the right things and are, for the most part, ethically sound. They fit into the role quite well. Sometimes it's they're company, CEOs & Owners. The women described in the Bible are not always homemakers and mothers. Obviously, the biological function (role it plays for its genetic success) of women is to produce children. However, Deborah was both a judge and leader of Israel. (Judges 4:4) Other women were involved in ridding Israel of her enemies. (Judges 4:21) Quite a number of women are described as being prophetesses. (Exodus 15:20,2 Kings 22:14,Luke 2:36) Other women in the Bible were involved in teaching the Word of God. (Acts 18:26)
Personally my own wife is an accomplished Lead Graphic Designer and won, or helped win, 18 advertising awards and a television award. We made an agreement that whoever can earn the most money would work, the other would raise the children. I lost, now I am homeschooling our four, soon to be five, kids and wouldn't trade it for any amount of career money. It took a couple of months to later realize that I actually won the deal.Even if I am still head of the house, she still submits to my authority as head of the house, I hold my wife elevated with respect and love. The gift she gave me that allowed me to truly enjoy my children is greatly appreciated. We still hold our roles Biblically though.
It all started with Eve. When Eve disobeyed God by transgressing His Law She brought things onto herself. (1 Timothy 2:14) She basically put "self" as her god. Eve placed God on trial as a criminal. She listened to God. She listened to Satan and weighed the two. Adam followed Eve instead of God. Autonomy was the oldest sin.
Now look at these two verses
(Genesis 3:16; Genesis 4:6-7)
See the similarities?
In referencing the woman: "and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee."
In referencing sin: "And unto thee shall be his desire, and thou shalt rule over him"
Metaphorically, the temptation of sin wants to have control over, or consume, Cain, and it did. By nature, because of the fall, the woman will seek to rule over the husband. Also, because of the fall, there is a natural tension that takes place in the family and there is a struggle for headship. "Woman wears the pants in the family" is a result of the curse. We are to resist sin and control from the woman.
So the Women desire to rule over men, because of the fall, falls naturally into the position of authority, because of her desires. This is why, I believe, that desire was so great they burned their bras and protested in the recent past to increase their role in the workplace. In a Holy setting though (Church, Government, Family) we are not to allow the woman to usurp that authority.
Don't stop here though, now go read bit.ly/misogynistic for a complete thought on Women and their role with God.
