Atheists Are The Antichrist

I was using satire to make a point about free speech to someone else. Now, I just knew it would come back at me, in the form of a quote mine as it did, but something else happened that I didn't expect.

Our (Atheistic?) friend Alex B said to me:

"DAN, you and your ilk are no better than any other conspiracy theorists - you make ludicrous, evidence free assertions, and claim that those who disagree are trying to 'silence' you, whilst making ridiculous threats *against* those [who] point out how bonkers your claims are.

It's truly pathetic, and makes your religion look extremely foolish."

My response was:

Wait a minute. Let's just say that you are right and I am doing ALL those things that you claim. You end it with this? A fallacious argument called a hasty generalization? Even if I did those things, you attempt to throw out the baby (Jesus?) with the bathwater as a comfort to deny Christ. That sir makes you an Antichrist not a non-theist or an Atheist.

You see, This is a perfect example that this is the goal for some Atheists. They want to find reasons to justify denying God. They use excuses all the time here. These are NOT reasons why you do not follow Christ, being in utter contempt towards his followers. It doesn't matter what kind of person I am, be it a liar, murderer, or pure evil what you have is gripes and complaints, and nothing more.

Not Just A Jobs...

In the environment, where entrepreneurship is almost a bad word for this current administration, life is speaking to you to find your true passion. Jobs Commencement Speech given at Stanford in 2005 is good advice about life, hints of spiritual matters about the connecting the dots and keeping the faith, but also mirrors our style of thoughts and philosophy about homeschooling our children.

That quiet inner voice steering us (God) will guide us to our purpose in life, not what we or others believe we should do, but what is our destiny in our future actually is. Trust that voice, that certainty of direction, and you will find your calling. Yes, you are called to your life's direction.

My advice to Jobs would be twofold: It is not your heart that you should follow because our hearts are deceitfully wicked.(Jeremiah 17:9) Follow that quiet, deeper, inner voice which is what I refer to as your soul of certainty. Your heart will tell you what you may want (desire), but your soul will tell you what you need to do to feel whole as a person. Also, Jobs needs to explore that spiritual side more. His fruit tells me his is not a Christian, because he was uncertain what that "calling" was, yet he kept faithful to it. Maybe someday he will know God with that same faith. Don't "stay foolish" for too long Jobs. (Psalm 14:1, Mark 8:36)

I just read an article that backed up this quote.

The article was called The Burden of Proof: How Atheism Has Adopted a Worldview That Science Never Intended

I gave him a couple of recent quotes to help him along. Then after reading some more quotes that were quite inspirational, I thought it would be good to include some as a post now and then. So now I feel the need to highlight the champions that stand on God's Word and possibly face persecution in their fields for doing so.

The first one a couple of days ago was Robert Jastrow (b. 1925) PhD. Physics, recipient of NASA Medal for Exceptional Scientific Achievement.

"At present, science has no satisfactory answer to the question of the origin of life on the earth. Perhaps the appearance of life on the earth is a miracle. Scientists are reluctant to accept that view, but their choices are limited; either life was created on the earth by the will of a being outside the grasp of scientific understanding, or it evolved on our planet spontaneously, through chemical reactions occurring in nonliving matter lying on the surface of the planet. The first theory places the question of the origin of life beyond the reach of scientific inquiry. It is a statement of faith in the power of a Supreme Being not subject to the laws of science.
