Tyrannical Rulers

No Fly, No Buy Act of 2009? This is complete garbage and total tyranny. Also, in a related article today on World Net Daily titled: Homeland Security on guard for 'right-wing extremists' which said that "the report also mentions 'end times' prophecies could motivate extremist individuals and groups to stockpile food, ammunition and weapons. These teachings also have been linked with the radicalization of domestic extremist individuals and groups in the past, such as the violent Christian Identity organizations and extremist members of the militia movement."

Gulp, didn't I just post about that very same thing a couple of days ago? Plus, its no secret to anyone that I voted and campaigned for Ron Paul...

"The report warned law enforcement agencies to watch for suspicious individuals who may have bumper stickers for third-party political candidates such as Ron Paul, Bob Barr and Chuck Baldwin."

So as these things go through and get passed I would probably be, more then likely, falsely imprisoned at some point in the near future. Would the Atheists that I know snicker and tell me that I deserve it for such thoughts? I can only thank God that s.1959 never passed...yet, otherwise I would be in jail today. Would Atheists fight for what is right? After all, I am sure a society free from Christians could be quite appealing to them. Would Atheists turn their heads?

Life imitating Art? Where did we go so wrong? Oh I know...

If you want to get technical...

"Hokey religions and ancient weapons are no match for a blaster at your side, kid."

    Han FTW.

As to the video, I like how this guy is an amalgamation of Rush Limbaugh and Glenn Beck. Hell, at ~3:45, he even starts crying and says, "I love this country so much, folks..."

You, Dan, kill me, almost as much as these tools. You and they claim they are country-loving patriots, but you and they increase the volume of your bitching exponentially when the subject involves the "sovereignty" of this nation. It's as though you and they don't recognize the necessary globalization of rights, governments, etc.

I agree that the 2nd Amendment shouldn't be suspended without due process, and the moment these bills gain any sort of traction, and are applied to a particular case, that case will find its way to the Supreme Court, and will be defeated. If not, expect a major backlash from the true patriots, but recognize also that despite the fact that some people live outside this country's borders, we all share responsibility for the goings-on on this planet, and therefore the traditional notions of sovereignty, nationalism, and national borders will all have to gradually cease, to be replaced by a global economy, a global unifying government, and a global borderless landscape.

Unless you actually hate and despise the peoples of other countries -- especially those countries which are directly exploited by U.S. consumerism -- you must admit that the privileges and freedoms we enjoy should likewise be available to them. As it stands, the U.S. seems to have no qualms about asserting its military power anywhere on the planet on the slimmest shred of evidence, so why not allow the oppressed to exert some influence on us?

    Quid pro quo, Clarice.

I guess that perhaps the best way to expose your failed thought processes is to turn your Episode III quote on its head. Have you ever, Dan, considered what it might look like when liberty is born? Just what do you think it looks like, to, for example, an especially well-informed Peruvian, when the U.S. concedes some of its "sovereignty" in order to expand your Peruvian rights, or increase your ability to thrive? What do you think the American Revolution looked like to wealthy Britons, especially those who had highly profitable investments in the New World?

Those who gain power, are most afraid of losing it. This is an old, but true saying, that even Chancellor Palpatine admitted when seducing Anakin. The U.S., and its complacent, yet complicit, citizens, have power. The paranoid sensationalists such as Limbaugh, Beck, and the jackass in your video are afraid that America -- Americans, and really, themselves; they wouldn't give two shits about a poor, jobless, uneducated inner-city resident unless they stood a chance to profit from it -- they are afraid that America will lose its power. They are frightened to death of it. If there is any truth to their feigned tears on-screen, it is in that selfish fear, which you are here espousing.

It is not surprising, then, to hear you bitch about alleged 30-40% taxation, with the audacity to suggest that without that taxation, "more would be left over to help [sick or impoverished] people ... [and] ... give [sick or impoverished] people jobs." You must realize, of course, that the reason for higher taxes levied upon the wealthy is to force them to help the sick or impoverished, especially since so few of them do anything like that voluntarily. It is also amusing to note that if the U.S. defense spending were significantly less, our taxes could decrease, while social services increased.

Why don't you bitch about that?

  2. Stan,

I have a lot on my plate but you bring up points that I wish to address, maybe in a post later. For now please listen to this video that addresses some of your points. I am sure that you can handle the blasphemy and language.

Title: SocialismYou are basically brainwashed into believing we cannot do things without a government in place.

  3. At about 1 minute 25 seconds, just before the ad break, the music from Airwolf starts playing.

I'm not an American so this post doesn't really apply to me.

"Would the Atheists that I know snicker and tell me that I deserve it for such thoughts?" No.
